Richard and Doris Roth of Scott City announce the engagement of their daughter, Brenda Kay Roth of Murphysboro, Illinois, to Christopher Sean Yearack of Carbondale, Illinois. He is the son of the late Terry Yearack, the late Jacalyn Yearack and the late Phil Watson.
Brenda is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and is an accountant at SIU Head Start.
