Susan Sauerwein of Bunker Hill, Ill., announces the engagement of her daughter, Megan Elizabeth Sauerwein, to Tyler Lee Gerlach. He is the son of Terry and Kim Gerlach of Cape Girardeau. Sauerwein is also the daughter of the late Earl Sauerwein.

Sauerwein is a 2003 graduate of Bunker Hill High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in business administration in 2007 and a master's degree in business administration in 2011, both from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed in the marketing department at Sam's Club in Cape Girardeau.

Gerlach is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast in 2007. He is a sales representative with AT&T in Cape Girardeau.

A June wedding is planned at Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
