CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Don and Leeada Sheeley of Chaffee announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Sheeley, to Charles Hemingway. He is the son of Dennis and Joann Hemingway of Perryville, Mo.

Sheeley is a 1990 graduate of Chaffee High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in communication disorders in 1994 and a master's degree in communication disorders in 1997, both from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a speech/language pathologist with the Columbia Public School District in Columbia, Mo.

Hemingway is a 1990 graduate of Perryville High School. He was a nuclear reactor operator with the U.S. Navy from 1993-99. He is employed at Odyssey Tek in Columbia, Mo.

A June 15 wedding is planned at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
