Adrian and Jamie Toole of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Monica Loften Toole, to Travis Scott Davis of Knoxville, Tenn. Monica is a 2006 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in exercise physiology from Baylor University in 2010, and expects to graduate in December from Ballarmine University with a doctor of physical therapy degree.

Travis received a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry and cellular molecular biology from the University of Tennessee in 2010. He expects to receive a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in 2015.

A Dec. 28 wedding is planned at Lynwood Baptist Church.
