Walther-Curtis

Richard and Carolyn Walther of Fruitland announce the engagement of their daughter, Alisha Renee Walther, to James Michael Curtis, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Freda and Dennis Savat of McClure, Ill., and Clyde Curtis of Morley, Mo.

Walther is a graduate of Jackson High School in Jackson. She is a self-employed cosmetologist at Studio C Salon in Cape Girardeau.

Curtis is a graduate of Chaffee High School at Chaffee, Mo. He is employed at Duncan Painting and Wallcovering in Chaffee.

An Oct. 22 wedding is planned at Fruitland Community Church.
