Wehmer- Bard

Rod and Peggy Williams of Bremerton, Wash., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sylana Renae Wehmer, to Chad Timothy Bard. He is the son of Patty and Mitch Herod of Cape Girardeau and Tim Bard of East Prairie, Mo.

Wehmer is a 1992 graduate of Central Kitsap High School in Silverdale, Wash. She is a dental assistant.

Bard is a 2002 graduate of Central High School. He is a corpsman in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Bremerton Naval Hospital.

An outdoor wedding is planned July 9 in Leavenworth, Wash.
