BENTON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Paul Welter of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaclyn Dawn Welter, to Paul Jackson Scott Jr. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Scott Sr. of Yellville, Ark. BENTON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Paul Welter of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaclyn Dawn Welter, to Paul Jackson Scott Jr. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Scott Sr. of Yellville, Ark.

Welter is a 1997 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education from Southeast Missouri State University in May.

Scott received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville in 1997. He is the QS-9000 quality system manager and chemist at Noranda Aluminum in New Madrid, Mo.

A June 22 wedding is planned at St. Denis Catholic Church.
