'Whad'Ya Know' comes to Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The popular public radio show "Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya Know?" will be broadcast live by WSIU Radio on March 26 at Shryock Auditorium on the campus of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Doors will open at 9 a.m., and the two-hour show will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Tickets are available for purchase at SouthernTicketsOnline.com, a service of SIU Event Services, or by calling 618-453-6000 weekdays between noon and 5 p.m. Feldman last visited Southern Illinois in 1998, when he presented a live broadcast of the show from Shryock Auditorium.

Bluegrass festival planned in Eureka

EUREKA, Mo. -- Missouri Area Bluegrass Committee will present its 11th annual Spring Indoor Bluegrass Festival March 18 and 19 at Holiday Inn Six Flags in Eureka. There will be a youth talent contest starting at 7 p.m. for musicians 16 years and younger.
