Arts council announces class

Shirley Nachtrieb, mixed media abstract artist and art instructor, will be teaching a class Sept. 26 to 27, hosted by the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri. Nachtrieb teaches beginning to advanced art. Cost is $100. For more information, call the arts council at 334-9233.

River Campus season tickets on sale

The 2009-2010 season of Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus season ticket sales are open to the public. The third River Campus season includes performances by the departments of music, and theater and dance, as well as professional touring companies. For more information, visit www.semo.edu/rivercampus. Season tickets may be ordered by mail, fax or in person at the River Campus box office in the Cultural Arts Center, 518 S. Fountain St. The River Campus box office is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays or by phone at 651-2265. Tickets for individual performances will go on sale July 15, after season ticket sales end July 10.
