There's a reason Jodie Foster waits so long between movies, and the wait is well worth it. "Panic Room" is one of the best suspense movies I've seen in a long time.

First off, Foster does an excellent job in her role. The passion with which she plays Meg Altman makes it seem real, and the commitment she has to her daughter, played by Kristen Stewart, is easy to connect to.

The premise of the story is gripping in itself, especially in today's high-tech society. The humanity of the intruders and the unbelievable camera angles add to the reality of the story.

Bare Bones Recommendation: Run, walk, crawl, do whatever it takes to get to this movie, and watch Kristen Stewart. I'm sure you'll see her again.
