This movie is corny, predictable, stupid. However, my friends weren't as harsh. Most of them thought it belongs in the category of stupid/funny like many Jim Carrey movies.

Matthew Perry is a process server who is trying to serve Hurley's character with divorce papers. Hurley agrees to pay Perry $1 million if he serves her husband with the papers instead.

Throughout the course of trying to find her husband, Perry and Hurley go through some pretty interesting and amusing times. But I would not advise seeing this movie unless you had absolutely nothing else to do.-- Kristen Whitlatch, college student

Three stars

Now this is one humorous flick. Even knowing the "real" professional movie reviews rated this one poorly, I still enjoyed seeing this movie. Judging by the amount of chuckling occurring in the theater, I assume others did as well.

Matthew Perry (Chandler on "Friends") plays a process server who has been given the job of serving divorce papers on a "trophy" wife played by Elizabeth Hurley. But being unable to resist the temptation of a greater financial return, he decides to turn the tables by serving process on her unfaithful and very wealthy Texas husband instead.

The process serving competition between the process server and his rival is more than a little funny.

I do have difficulty accepting the PG-13 rating on this movie. The comedic language and situations are more than a little raunchy.

One star

I prefer to be entertained whenever I watch a movie. I'm not asking for much; just a plausible plot, fast-paced action with some chemistry between the leading actors and a credible ending. Unfortunately, "Serving Sara" delivers none of these.

I found myself feeling sorry for Matthew Perry. Not for the character, Joe, the process server that he plays in the movie, but for Matthew. I know he is a better actor than he was in this movie. All I can say is, "Stick with your "Friends," Matt."

Elizabeth Hurley never convinced me that she was Sara, the soon-to-be ex-wife of a Texas millionaire rancher. Matthew Perry was able to get a few laughs but they were weak and far between. Cedric the Entertainer provided the best comedic scenes in the movie.

If you want to see Matthew Perry at his best, save your money and watch "Friends."
