Arts Council of Southeast Missouri

The 27th annual Eighth Congressional District High School Art Competition will feature student work from Southeast Missouri. Ten finalists will be named during the reception and the grand prize winner will earn the opportunity to compete in the National Congressional Art Competition in Washington, D.C. Work will be displayed through May 25.

Black Door Gallery

"Foundations" self portraits featuring work by Southeast Missouri State University students under the guidance of faculty member Emily Booth. Each close-up portrait is an exploration of optical color mixing inspired by the later works of American artist Chuck Close.
