Who is your role model, and why?
My role model is my mother. She puts in so many hours in our school district and expects nothing in return. She has also been my No. 1 fan since day one and has pushed me to reach my full potential. She is my best friend!
What is your favorite high-school memory?
My favorite high-school memory would have to be running for Missouri State Beta office. I had a blast working with my club during all those snow days and enjoyed meeting new people. I am really going to miss Beta convention next year!
What are your plans after graduation? Where do you plan to attend school, and have you decided your major? If so, tell us why you chose that path:
After graduation, I plan to attend Murray State University. I want to major in biology with a pre-medicine emphasis. My goal is to someday be a pediatrician. I chose this path because I love the challenge that this career brings.
What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?
The best advice that I could give to incoming freshmen would definitely be to enjoy your high-school years. The next four years will really fly by, so make sure that you make the most of every day. Opportunities come to those who seek them.
In just three words, describe your high-school experience: It's been real.
