The annual Southeast Missouri State University and Cape West Rotary Club Golf Tournament raised $92,000 for student scholarships. The tournament was in July at Dalhousie Golf Club. The funds raised will be distributed as scholarships, awarded to students with financial needs attending Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau or one of its regional campuses in Kennett, Malden, Perryville, or Sikeston, Mo. The proceeds will be given to students with financial need the fall 2010 and spring 2011 semesters. The scholarship money was presented to Southeast Missouri State University president Dr. Kenneth Dobbins by Rotary Club members and university alumni Scott Haney, Jeff Hotop, Rick Ebaugh, Steve Schneider, Jill Glenzy, Rotary Club member Rick Kennard and Rotary Club president Linda Puchbauer.
