Several young church members of St. Mary Cathedral participated in the Knit/Crochet/Loom group this summer. The group meet every Friday morning to make hats and blankets for babies. Several of the older members of the parish came in to teach knitting and crocheting. Donations of yarn, needles and hooks were made by parishioners. More than 60 items were delivered to Birthright, an organization that helps any girl or woman who feels distressed by an unplanned pregnancy.
