Did you know you could make your pennies shine by using a few ingredients from the kitchen?

Materials

* Dirty pennies

* Vinegar

* Salt

* Toothbrush

* Plate

Instructions

STEP 1: Mix the salt and vinegar in the plate.

STEP 2: Using the toothbrush clean the pennies with the salt and vinegar solution.

STEP 3: Rinse the pennies with water.

Explanation

Mixing the salt with the vinegar creates a small amount of hydrochloric acid. This acid removes the dirt from the pennies.
