Using clear soda, you can make raisins dance. It's another easy experiment that might get you "Hooked on Science."

Ingredients

  • Raisins
  • Can of clear soda
  • Clear glass

Instructions

STEP 1: Pour the soda into the clear glass.

STEP 2: Drop several raisins into the soda and observe.

Explanation

The carbon dioxide bubbles attach to the raisins lifting them to the top.

Once at the top the bubbles pop causing the raisins to sink to the bottom of the glass. The raisins will continue to rise and sink until all the carbon dioxide gas escapes.
