The bar/pool hall/concert spot has reopened with a new face and a few new innards. To celebrate, the bar brought back the Tone Def All-Stars for a Saturday night of pool, music and fun.

Missed it? You missed a good time.

Logic came in from St. Louis to open the night with energetic rock 'n' roll. The band just couldn't stay on stage. At one point, it was a guitar-laden mosh pit.

Then Tone Def made its appearance at its homebase for more fun.

I know you're probably kicking yourself over missing it, but you don't have to settle for my printed recap.

SE Live on Location filmed the fun for you. Louie Benson has a camera, a microphone and a mission every weekend. He's filmed the Kiss convention and the American Red Cross multiband benefit in Capaha Park. On Friday and Saturday he boot scooted around Cape Girardeau to talk to Herman Ze German and capture his concert and then hung out at Breakaways for all the action.

SE Live on Location will be a mostly weekly feature on semissourian.com, recapping the previous weekend's events.

If you were out of town or otherwise engaged, Louie can show you just what you missed. Or, if you want to gear up for the coming weekend, you can relive last week's excitement on SE Live on Location on semissourian.com or posted on SE Live's MySpace page, www.myspace.com/selive.

Louie is a Sagittarius who earned a certificate in advanced broadcasting from the Career and Technology Center. He said he would have gone on to get the degree, but he didn't feel like taking college courses. He helped with editing on the Victory Film Production "Fire Lily" and has participated in a couple 48-Hour Film Projects over the last few years.

He's a teacher's assistant at the Career and Technology Center by day and SE Live on Location videographer by night. When he's not working for the man or filming for us, he spends his time watching movies and playing video games.

Watch for Louie at the hot spots and watch SE Live on Location each week at semissourian.com.
