Students awarded SEMO scholarships

Brooke Anderson of Cape Girardeau, Madalyn Dockins of Jackson, Sara Haupt of Patton, Missouri, and Tayla Meyr of Altenburg, Missouri, were awarded University Scholarships to assist with the cost of attendance at Southeast Missouri State University next fall. Anderson will be a 2016 graduate of Cape Central High School and is the daughter of Brian and Erica Anderson of Cape Girardeau. Dockins will be a 2016 graduate of Jackson High School and is the daughter of Brandon and Cara Raines of Jackson. Haupt will be a 2016 graduate of Meadow Heights High School and is the daughter of Ralph and Kathleen Haupt of Patton. Meyr will be a 2016 graduate of Saxony Lutheran High School and is the daughter of Bradley and Paula Meyr of Altenburg.

5 receive Regents' Scholarship

Shelby Powers, Jack Reelburn and Adrienne Underwood of Cape Girardeau, Tessa Mangels of Oak Ridge and Mitchell Schaefer of Oran, Missouri, were awarded the Regents' Scholarship to assist with the cost of attendance at Southeast Missouri State University next fall. Powers and Underwood will be 2016 graduates of Cape Central High School; Reelburn will be a 2016 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School; Mangels will be a 2016 graduatesof Oak Ridge Senior High School; and Schaefer will be a 2016 graduate of Oran High School. Powers is the daughter of Lance and Jeni Powers, Reelburn is the son of Mark and Tracy Reelburn, and Underwood is the daughter of Dale and Pam Underwood, all of Cape Girardeau. Mangels is the daughter of Steve and Kathy Mangels of Oak Ridge. Schaefer is the son of Mike and Michelle Schaefer of Oran.
