I remember you only in my mind

I call out for you, but you slip further away,

I called out for you, but couldn't find you today

How do I find you, what would I say? Would I recognize your face, would there be a high price to pay?

Why did you leave me, where did you go? Did I push you away at a time when I needed you so?

I thought I found you in the mirror when I looked,

But someone else's eyes stared back at the glance that I took
