POETRY CORNER: TO MY DAUGHTER

To my lovely daughter,

You are a beam of sunlight to everyone you meet.

No matter how bad you feel,

No one else can see.

You're always smiling and cheerful,

With words to make us laugh.

Even though your injury is very painful,

You just push it to the back.

You are so considerate to others needs,

You give words of wisdom and love.

I honestly believe that you are an angel,

Sent from God, above.

I am blessed to have you as a daughter,

Whom I love so very much.

You are all that I ever ordered,

And you have that special touch.
