It's turning now, this brand new wheel,

with baby blue, or pink so real.

With childish joy, and carefree play,

the wheel turns slow, with joyful days.

It's turning now, young boy or girl,

the facts of life, make your head whirl.

With joys of youth, you are racing on,

If I could just, be twenty-one.

First love so sweet, she just can't eat,

a life together, sure would be neat.

The wheel turns on, now, every day,

the brand new paint, gets chipped away.

and saw, to my surprise, some gray.

It's turning now, so very fast,

each year slips by, and soon Is past.

Some days for laughter, others tears,

raising kids, brings joys and fears.

It's turning on, the kids are gone,

the years have passed, and moving on.

But calm your fears and hold your tears,

life Is sweet, for elder years.

We have learned to live, and learned to love,

and learned In faith of God above.

So live and laugh and love today,

although the wheel Is spinning away,

It's all a part of God's great plan,

the wheel of life for every man.
