The Sikeston, Mo., Department of Public Safety recently presented a check to the Muscular Dystrophy Association after the department's annual Fill the Boot campaign. Department members presented a check to local MDA representative Kyla Evans for $14,458.15. The officers collected the money for over two weeks while standing in front of Walmart and Food Giant in Sikeston. The MDA helps children and adults affected by any of the 43 neuromuscular diseases covered by MDA's comprehensive medical services and research programs.
