Kelsey Martin of Cape Girardeau, a student at Harding University in Arkansas, recently was inducted into the Arkansas Eta chapter, the school's branch of Alpha Chi National Honor Society. Martin, a junior majoring in molecular and cellular biology, is in the upper 10 percent of junior and senior classes at the private university. That means her grade-point average is a minimum of 3.85, and she has completed at least 80 course hours. The honor also is open to graduate students in the top 10 percent of their respective programs.
