Are you all as sick of reading about, talking about, and moaning about this whole Clinton affair as I am? For the life of me I can not understand why the American people seem to be so blind to the fact that we would not have to be subjected to all of this if Clinton had only come clean 9 months ago and saved us millions of dollars in taxpayers money as well. If you are wondering what else you can do and what else you can discuss, here is something. On October 13th in the borough of Manhattan (New York City), the Manhattan Theatre Club will be producing a play about a Jesus like charactor who has homosexual relations with his twelve apostles. The play is not only blasphemous, but profane and sexually explicit. (Some of the same words used to explain the infamous Clinton grand jury testimoney.) The play is produced with taxpayer funding from the Endowment For the Arts. I urge you to please contact your Senators and Congressmen and ask them to cut off funding for the endowment of the arts. TWA has already cut off its sponsorship of this play. For those of us who know the historical story of Jesus's passion and death, we remember when Jesus was presented to the people along with another man named Barrabas. The people were given the chance to choose one or the other to defend ie. release. Barrabas, Barrabas! they screamed. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you two choices, Jesus or Clinton. CHRISTINE E. STEPHENS Cape Girardeu
