In your Zen space, you'll want to soothe your senses while screening out hustle-bustle. What you'll need: Some tall plants to curtain you off, a comfortable chair, and a small table to hold your book or drink. Fill a vase with cut flowers and aromatic herbs to perfume your nook, and hang a set of wind chimes for that lazy tinkling of sound.

Let nature scent and color your corner. Slip behind the screen of greenery and sit. A breeze flutters the wind chimes and broadcasts whiffs of rosemary. The best part? You're alone.
