Gary and Linda Koch of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassie Leigh Koch, to Aaron Michael Panton. He is the son of Rick and Kim Panton of Whitefield, N.H.

Koch is a 1999 graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in child development from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Community Counseling Center.

Panton is a graduate of White Mountains Regional High School in Whitefield, and attended Johnson and Wales University in Charleston, S.C. He is employed at Regions Bank.

An April 8 wedding is planned at La Croix United Methodist Church.
