Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* Steve Gerard Vitale, 56, of 1115 Good Hope St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, driving an unlicensed vehicle and no proof of insurance.

Arrests

* Melissa H. Davis, 34, of 701 N. Spanish St., was arrested for failing to pay a sewer bill with the city of Cape Girardeau.

Thefts

* DVDs were reported stolen at Sears Grand, 330 Siemers Drive.

* Clothing was reported stolen at J.C. Penney, 200 West Park Mall, and two juveniles were taken into custody.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported at 618 N. Pacific St. and a window was broken out on a vehicle.

* Property damage was reported at Independence and Main streets and a vehicle's rearview mirror was damaged.

Miscellaneous

* A black 1998 Eagle Talon, Missouri license plate, P22-07N, was towed at Mount Auburn Road and Kingshighway.

* Interference with child custody was reported.

* A subject is in custody pending formal charges for domestic assault.
