Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Phillip E. Thomas, 36, of 719 E. Jefferson St., Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of tampering with evidence and resisting arrest.

* Enrique J. Figueroa, 20, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of assault and driving while suspended.

Assault

* A domestic assault was reported. A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges.

Thefts

* A black leather purse, a Nokia cell phone, cash, a passport, checks and credit cards were reported stolen at 101 Cape West Parkway.

* A brown purse was reported stolen at 28 N. Fountain St.

* Theft of a credit device was reported.

Miscellaneous

* A Missouri license plate was reported lost.

* A suitcase was reported found at 160 S. Broadview St.

* A 25-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Jesse C. Jones, 20, of Millersville, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to display lights on a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests

* Thad C. Schwepker, 33, of 306 N. Neal St., was arrested on a St. Louis County warrant for possession of drugs.

* Michael J. Seeto, 53, of Fredericktown, Mo., was arrested on a St. Francois County warrant for failure to appear.

* Cora J. Robinson, 30, of Bonne Terre, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, displaying the plates of another, driving without insurance, theft of an annual license sticker and driving while revoked.

Assault

* A domestic assault was reported in the 1000 block of Highland Drive.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 600 block of August Street.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported in the 600 block of Washington Street.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 300 block of South Missouri Street.

* Property damage was reported in the 300 block of South Georgia Street.

Miscellaneous

* A domestic dispute was reported in the 600 block of North Georgia Street.

* A fight was reported on Parkview Street.

* A fight was reported in the 200 block of Morgan Street.

* A fight was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.

* A fight was reported in the 200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
