Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Stephanie L. Sanford, 22, of 1 Parkwood Drive, St. Peters, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Brandon W. Mosley, of 728 Hickory, was arrested on a warrant for driving while suspended.

* Ajit V. Deva, of 2461 Buck Creek, Festus, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for harassment.

* Larry Dean Best Jr., no age given, of 2536 Masters, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for two counts contempt of court.

* Karen Ann Stacy, 37, of 1927 N. Kingshighway, Apt. 6, was arrested on a St. Francois County warrant for passing bad checks.

Summons

* Eric John Mues, 21, of 206 Group Housing H, was issued a summons for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Assault

* Assault was reported at 127 Water St.

Thefts

* A license plate was reported stolen in the 1000 block of North Henderson.

* Gasoline was reported stolen at Jaspers, 10 S. West End Blvd.

Property damage

* A vehicle's doors were reported scratched in the 3200 block of William Street.

Miscellaneous

* A 15-year-old male was cited into juvenile court as a runaway.

* A subject is in custody pending formal charges for possession of a controlled substance.

* A 78-year-old male was taken into protective custody.
