Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Charges of driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance are pending against a motorist pulled over by police.

Thefts

* A stereo and CDs were reported stolen at 640 Mason St.

* A license plate was reported stolen.

* Eleven cases of fraudulent use of credit/debit cards were reported at 111 S. Broadview St.

* Gasoline was reported stolen from Rhodes 101, 2109 William St.

* Car title loans and stereo equipment were reported stolen at 605 N. Kingshighway.

Arrests

* Jodi Beasley, 35, of 1812 Hutson Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear in court.

* A 33-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* A 23-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* A person was taken into custody pending the filing of charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Property damage

* Cape Area Family Resource Center reported a window was damaged at 1202 S. Sprigg St.

* A vehicle was reported damaged in the 300 block of Broadway.

* A vehicle was reported damaged at 1821 N. Main St.

Assaults

* Third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child were reported.

* A domestic assault was reported.

* An assault was reported at 502 Louis St.

* A second-degree assault was reported.

Miscellaneous

* Second-degree arson was reported at 7 N. Park Ave.

* Peace disturbance was reported at 13 Doctors Park.

* Interference with child custody was reported in the 2000 block of Perryville Road.

* Interference with child custody was reported at Kiwanis Park.

* A child seat-belt violation was reported at William Street and Mount Auburn Road.

* Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at South Ellis and Elm streets.

* Misrepresentation of age was reported at rear 915 College Hill.

* Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.
