Harmon-Cannon

Michael and Susan Nolan of Cape Girardeau and James and Rebecca Harmon of Springfield, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaimie Suzanne Harmon, to Wade Ashley Cannon. He is the son of William "Bill" and Donna Cannon of Chaffee, Mo.

Harmon is a 2003 graduate of Central High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. She is employed at Immediate HealthCare.

Cannon is a 1999 graduate of Chaffee High School, and a 2005 graduate of the National Academy of Railroad Sciences. He is a conductor with Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railroad.

An Oct. 14 wedding is planned at Unity Baptist Church in Benton, Mo.
