Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* Kevin Cawley, 26, of 416 McKenna Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

* A suspect is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failing to maintain a single lane.

Arrests

* Alfred Jasper, 22, of 1513 Davis St., Caruthersville, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

* Christian J. Jacobs, 21, of 141 Barnett St., Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Assaults

* A domestic assault was reported at 2400 Veteran's Memorial Drive.

Thefts

* Burglary and stealing was reported at 124 S. Lorimier St.

* A motor vehicle was reported stolen at 1101 William St.

* A checkbook was reported taken at 1320 W. Cape Rock Drive.

* Clothing was reported taken from J.C. Penney at 3049 William St. A 15-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court in connection with the crime.

* Gasoline was reported taken from Rhodes 101 at 1624 N. Kingshighway.

* Gasoline was reported taken from Jasper's at 10 S. West End Blvd.

Miscellaneous

* Lost property was reported at Arena Park.

* Sexual misconduct was reported in Capaha Park.

* Protective custody was ordered for a 52-year-old man in the 3000 block of William Street.

* Protective custody was ordered for a 41-year-old man in Arena Park.
