SIKESTON, Mo. -- An Oran, Mo., man sustained moderate injuries Sunday night when his vehicle ran off the left side of the road and struck a natural gas meter.
Hank Wagner, 47, was taken to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston after the 10:45 p.m. accident. He refused treatment.

The accident occurred on U.S. 61, three miles north of Sikeston.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued summonses to Wagner for driving while intoxicated, no valid operator's license, no insurance and careless and imprudent driving.
