Sprouse-Walker

Mike and Debbie Sprouse of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Sprouse, to Zachary Walker. He is the son of Jim and Becky Walker of Ashland, Mo.

Sprouse is a 1999 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in psychology and criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University in 2003. She is pursuing a master's degree in marriage and family therapy at Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. She is a community support specialist at the University of Missouri Health Care.

Walker received a bachelor of science degree in political science from the University of Missouri in 2005. He is pursuing a master's degree in public administration at the Truman School of Public Affairs at the university.

The couple plans to be married in June 2008.
