Mr. and Mrs. Bill James of Doniphan, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Pennelope James, to Brett Faust of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Faust of Ellisville, Mo.

James is a 1996 graduate of Doniphan High School, and 1998 graduate of Three Rivers Community College. She is a customer service specialist with JCPenney Co. Inc.

Faust is a 1989 graduate of Parkway West High School, and attended Meramec Community College. He is a manager with Sears, Roebuck and Co.

A Dec. 6 wedding is planned at First Church of God in Doniphan.
