Becker-Daugherty

Gary and Christine Becker of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Anne Becker, to Robert Michael Daugherty. He is the son of Robert and Ruth Daugherty of Frohna, Mo.

Becker is a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science in 2004 and a master of physical therapy in 2005, both from Maryville University in St. Louis. She is a home health physical therapist at the Lutheran Home.

Daugherty is a 1993 graduate of Woodland High School. He received a bachelor of arts in chemistry from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998. He is a 2002 graduate of Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. He is a podiatrist and owner of Daugherty Foot and Ankle Clinic in Cape Girardeau.

A beach wedding is planned June 29 in Destin, Fla.
