He's soon adopted by 12-year-old Owen Baker. Owen helps Hubble train a misfit band of neighborhood dogs to impress the Greater Dane, a leader from Sirius who is coming to Earth. 'House of the Dead'

Several college students on spring break in Seattle make plans to hit a rave on a remote island just outside the city. But when they arrive late -- having missed the main boat -- they discover the island deserted and no revelers in sight. Finally they meet two trembling students who say the rest of the kids were attacked and eaten by zombies. 'Intolerable Cruelty'

Celebrated Beverly Hills divorce attorney Miles Massey is bored with his continued success and wants a real challenge. He finds it in the form of the gorgeous Marilyn Rexroth. She's the wife of one of his clients, a wealthy real estate developer whose infidelity is caught on tape. Marilyn and her attorney, certain of a lucrative judgment in their favor, are stunned when Miles works his courtroom magic and prevails, leaving her broke. Marilyn rebounds by marrying an oil tycoon, which is all part of her plan to get revenge on Miles, who finds himself attracted to this shrewd, sexy woman. 'Kill Bill Volume 1'

Starring Uma Thurman, David Carradine, Lucy Liu, Michael Madsen, Darryl Hannah, Vivica A. Fox, Sonny Chiba, and Samuel L. Jackson. A pregnant assassin named the Bride is shot by her boss, Bill, and her co-workers at her wedding (the wedding guests are also shot). She survives, though, waking up exceedingly angry after a four-year coma, and decides to hunt down and kill every single one of the assassins who were responsible, saving Bill for last. 'Lost in Translation'

Starring Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson, Giovanni Ribisi, Anna Faris, Akiko Takeshita, and Catherine Lambert. Two bored, melancholy Americans -- a fading movie star shooting an ad for Suntory whiskey and a young married woman with an ambitious, neglectful husband -- become fast friends after meeting in a hotel bar. The two spend an adventure-filled week together taking in the sights and getting to know each other. Rated R for some sexual content, running time 100 minutes. (Cape West Cine)

'Luther'

Starring Joseph Fiennes, Alfred Molina, Jonathan Firth, Claire Cox, Peter Ustinov and Bruno Ganz. A controversial religious leader Martin Luther, questioned the morality and ethics of the Catholic Church and its officials and whose writings (the 95 Theses) started the Protestant Reformation, culminating in his excommunication. The story takes place from 1505, when the German Luther was inspired to become a monk, through 1530, by which time his beliefs and teachings had laid the groundwork for what was to become the Lutheran Church. 'Matchstick Men'

'Pirates of the Caribbean'

Aboard the Black Pearl, infamous pirate Captain Barbossa attacks the city of Port Royal and kidnaps a governor's daughter, Elizabeth. Barbossa then sets sail with his hostage toward a secret hideaway, hoping to lift an ancient curse by sacrificing her and returning a once-plundered treasure. Elizabeth's childhood friend Will Turner meets an eccentric seaman, Jack Sparrow, who reveals that the Black Pearl was formerly his ship, until Barbossa committed mutiny. Together, they assemble a ragtag crew and commandeer a British vessel, hoping to chase down and free both Elizabeth and Sparrow's Pearl. 'The Rundown'
