Grilled fresh figs are an indulgence. And even more so when stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in bacon.

Coat the grill rack with oil or cooking spray. Preheat the grill to medium. Use a knife to cut a 1/2-inch-deep slit down the side of each fig. Gently part the sides of the slit and slide a wedge of cheese into each. Wrap one slice of bacon around each fig, starting at the top and spiraling it down the length of the fruit. Place the figs on the grill, close the cover and cook for 2 minutes. Turn off one side of the grill and use tongs to carefully move the figs to that side. Close the lid and continue cooking with indirect heat for another 3 minutes.
