Auditions for local actors set for Feb. 2

Schrader Turner Films will audition local actors for its new film "The Lies of Others" from 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 2 at Port Cape Girardeau. The film will begin production in Cape Girardeau on May 10. "The Lies of Others" is the stories of two young lawyers in love, Mary and Thomas, and the aftermath of the murder of Thomas's father by Mary's brother.

Parts are also available for young actors -- an 8-12-year-old Hispanic girl, and two 10-12-year-old white males, both with horse riding experience.
