Russell-Berens

John and Susan Russell of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Russell, to Tyler Berens. He is the son of Paul and Carol Berens of Cape Girardeau.

Russell received a bachelor of science degree in mass communication in advertising from Southeast Missouri State University in 2003. She is employed at Red Letter Communications.

Berens expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in business administration in management information systems from Southeast. He will be commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force in July.

A May 8 wedding is planned at Lynwood Baptist Church.
