Iten-Glaus

Gerald and Susanne Iten of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Mindy Susanne Iten, to Benjamin James Glaus. He is the son of Norman and Diana Glaus of Cape Girardeau.

Iten is a graduate of Central High School and of Missouri Baptist Medical Center School of Nursing in St. Louis. She is a registered nurse in the surgical and observation departments at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in Carbondale, Ill.

Glaus is a graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Westminster College at Fulton, Mo., and a master's degree in biology from Southeast Missouri State University. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in biochemistry at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Carbondale.

A June 19 wedding is planned in Cobden, Ill.
