Michael and Susan Salyer of Pensacola, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Salyer, to the Rev. Timothy Seabaugh, both of Pensacola. Michael and Susan Salyer of Pensacola, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Salyer, to the Rev. Timothy Seabaugh, both of Pensacola. He is the son of Darrel and Bette Seabaugh of Jackson.

Salyer received a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from the University of West Florida. She is a third grade teacher at Redeemer Lutheran School in Pensacola.

Seabaugh received a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Southeast Missouri State University, and a master of divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He is assistant pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Pensacola.

An Aug. 7 wedding is planned in Cape Girardeau.
