Scheffer-Mackey

Claudia Marion of Chaffee, Mo., and Paul Bell of Millersville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathy Ellen Scheffer, to John Michael Mackey. He is the son of Charles Mackey of St. Charles, Mo., and Jo Anne Mackey of Old Appleton, Mo.

Scheffer is a graduate of Chaffee High School. She is operations administrator at Rubbermaid.

Mackey is a graduate of Hazelwood East High School. He received a degree in criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University, and was a member of Army ROTC. He is employed in production support at Foamex, and is president of Mackey Financial Group.

A July 3 wedding is planned at Baptist Student Center.
