Rutherford - Dodd

David and Pam Rutherford of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Melody Anne Rutherford, to Michael James Dodd. He is the son of Paul and Denise Salmon of Cape Girardeau, and the late David Dodd.

Rutherford is a 2005 graduate of Central High School, and is attending Southeast Missouri State University.

Dodd is a 2003 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Southeast in 2007, and is pursuing a doctorate of osteopathic medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience.

A July 19 wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church.
