Voice over artist Matthew Piazzi will join tenor Neal E. Boyd in Las Vegas.

Piazzi appeared on NBC's talent competition show "America's Got Talent" briefly tonight, but it was long enough to make it clear that he's moving on to the next round of the competition, the Las Vegas callbacks.

Piazzi, a New York native, is the son of Southeast Missouri State University voice instructor Judith Farris, who spent many years in New York as a Broadway voice coach.

Piazzi was shown briefly between a variety of acts, from singers to magicians to a percussion team. The voice over artist was featured doing his impressions of George Clooney and Jack Nicholson. He was one of many acts that sent in initial audition material over the Web site MySpace, as did all of tonight's acts.

Piazzi was passed on to the semifinals in Las Vegas, which begin Tuesday, where he'll join Sikeston, Mo., native and Southeast Missouri State University alumnus Boyd to compete for a $1 million prize and a Las Vegas show.

We'll be tracking both contestants here on the "America's Voice" Web site.
