Ulrich - Spindler

Darrell and Connie Ulrich of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Ulrich, to Jon Spindler, both of St. Louis. He is the son of Dennis and Cindy Spindler of Nashville, Ill.

Ulrich is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2005. She is an associate director of development at the university.

Spindler is a 1999 graduate of Nashville Community High School. He received a bachelor's degree in jazz performance from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville in 2004, and a master's degree in jazz performance from the University of South Florida in 2007. He is owner and manager of Downtime Productions in St. Louis.

A Nov. 28 wedding is planned in Fairview Heights, Ill.
