"Lend a Hand Where You Can" is the theme of National Volunteer Week, April 19 to 25. Due to the number of volunteer projects submitted, Tina Dohogne, executive director of Retired Senior Volunteer Program/Volunteer Intergenerational Center, extended the week by one day, to begin April 18. Volunteers who wish to encourage those they help and motivate others to serve can contact the RSVP/VIC at 335-7555.

To successfully fulfill all the volunteer projects, a response date by April 1 is expected.

Thirty-one projects are on the agenda to complete in one week. Most require more than one person per project.
