Hotz - Brown

Edwin and Susan Proffer Hotz of St. Petersburg, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Ann Hotz, to Russell Allen Brown. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Brown Jr. of Nashville, Tenn. Mrs. Hotz is formerly of Cape Girardeau.

Hotz is a 2007 graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she majored in communicative disorders. She expects to receive a master of arts degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University this summer.

Brown is a 2007 graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he majored in mathematics. He is an assistant project engineer with Skanska USA Building Inc. in Memphis, Tenn.

An Aug. 15 wedding is planned at St. Mary Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in St. Petersburg.
