Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Jefferson P. Lents, 19, 3030 Kenneth Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, failure to drive on right half of road and no insurance.

* A subject is in custody pending charges for assault, armed criminal action, driving while intoxicated and unlawful use of a weapon.

Arrests

* William R. Dubose, 21, of Lilbourn, Mo., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for failure to pay fines.

* Travis Turner, 27, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance.

* Darius J. Ballentine, 19, of Cairo, Ill., and Charles Johnson, 40, 1111 Cape Hills Drive, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and attempted stealing.

* Alvin M. Hightower, 26, 227 Spanish St., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for traffic violations.

* A subject is in custody pending charges of soliciting.

Summons

* Anetre M. Jackson, 48, 117 N. Clark Ave., Apt. 1, was issued a summons for disturbing the peace and stealing.

Thefts

* A camera, golf balls, coins and cigarettes were reported stolen at 2225 Sherwood Drive.

* Money was reported stolen at Broadway and North Fountain Street.

* Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of a cell phone. A 16-year-old boy was placed in custody in connection with the incident.

* A Garmin GPS unit was reported stolen at 1226 Normal Ave.

Burglaries

* A burglary was reported at 2828 Themis St., Apt. No. 5.

* A burglary was reported at 133 S. Missouri St. Gloves and firearms were reported stolen.

Property damage

* A flowerpot was reported damaged at 301 Broadway.

Miscellaneous

* Forgery was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Soila R. Reyna, 18, 1401 Highland Drive, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Carla G. Dodson, 46, 2838 Independence St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Lonnie D. Reid, 22, 1120 Apache Drive, was arrested on suspicion of allowing a dog to run at large.

* Clayton C. Leming, 18, 1801 Mulberry St., was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* Kevin W. Cronenbold, 19, 850 Dallas St., was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* Adam E. Collier, 19, 850 Dallas St., was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* Eric J. Brashear, 18, 2530 Ridge Road, was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* A 16-year-old boy was referred to juvenile services for suspicion of possession of marijuana and tobacco.

* Howard L. Frymire, 59, 611 W. Washington St., Apt. 1, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for public intoxication.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 800 block of August Street.

Thefts

* A theft was reported in the 2700 block of Ridge Road.

* A theft was reported in the 1800 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
